Long term plan is to build our own mini pet shelter in the outskirts of Belgrade. Our pet shelter project would include professional care (in cooperation with veterinarians voluntary and honorary) and contract based adoption programs including training, spaying, neutering and post-adoption monitoring.

The mini pet shelter would encompass outdoor and indoor kennels, ambulance, reception, post operative kennel, quarantine room, events play room, 1000 m2 of yard, 1 vehicle, the shop, pet sitting service and web site. Estimated financial requirements: 30,000 Eur first year, 10,000 Eur second year and 5,000 Eur third year.

Events wise, the project agenda would include social activities with persons with disabilities and children without parental care, workshops in elementary schools, fund raising parties with dogs and cats from the shelter, media involvement. All the activities would have two purposes: fund raising for the shelter or education and raising of people awareness about pet rights and pet welfare in Serbia, specially of children. In this sense the cooperation with municipalities and city of Belgrade is a must.
