Legal norms and regulations are an important part of commitment to animal welfare. Unfortunately, in Serbia, many of adopted legal documents are being ignored while penalties or criminal violations are failed to be perused. The growing number of stray dogs in every city in Serbia is the result of such omissions in legal system.

THE CONTRACT FOR PET ADOPTION (download)
When adopting an animal new owners are requested to sign a contract which protects pet rights and oblige the owner to provide acceptable living conditions to a pet and behave conscientiously and responsibly toward it.

THE STRATEGY, BELGRADE (download)
Legal document in compliance with EU standard defining the Strategy for solving the problem of over-numbered stray population and its further control. Program introduced and adopted is C-N-R (catch - nurture - release).
